ICICI working on iMobile Banking application for Windows Phone

ICICI, one of the largest bank in India is currently working on bringing it’s mobile banking application iMobile to Windows Phone, according to their tweet from their support account on Twitter:

ICICI iMobile banking app  lets you transfer funds, pay bills, book travel or movie tickets, recharge your prepaid mobile and DTH, locate an ATM, etc on the go. iMobile application is already available on iOS, Android, Symbian and even Windows Mobile!

ICICI will be the first Indian bank to port their mobile application to Windows Phone platforms.  We hope it’s just the start of more banking applications making their way into the India marketplace. Why? Mobile banking IS the future. Remember?

Thanks for the tip Vijay Vadlamani!
