FALCON may somehow make that app load much much shorter

We all love the speedy improvements made between NoDo and Mango when it comes to app loading. But somehow, those Redmond guys have created a way to make that already fast app loading even faster in Falcon: Fast App Launching with Content. By using location and temporal access patterns (in essence the frequency the app has been used), the program is pre-loaded in memory before you even think about opening that app you love so much. While a lot of this is still heavy in the R&D zone, we hope to see it very soon – ya know in Apollo. It would make that game of Dodonpachi Maximum load so much faster, and I’m sure that’s something we all want.
