Alleged Nokia Windows Phone 8 poster shows up

Two days late? PhoneArena was tipped an interesting poster today (embedded below). As you can see, it shows the Windows Phone 8 branding along with the tag line “Breaking the limits since 1865″. A simple Google search of the two terms “1865″ and “Nokia” led to me to the Nokia story page. From the page:

In 1865, mining engineer Fredrik Idestam sets up his first wood pulp mill at the Tammerkoski Rapids in south-western Finland. A few years later he opens a second mill on the banks of the Nokianvirta river, which inspires him to name his company Nokia Ab in 1871.

From innovation in producing papers to mobiles, Nokia has indeed come a long way and I feel the tagline is apt too.  PhoneArena believes it’s a pre final poster template.

No doubt this is an interesting piece of image. You may just witness the upcoming Windows Phone 8 phones from Nokia in terms of design. There’s no way to validate the imagery but you are free to speculate. Why is the poster important? Because, if it’s true. This is the first time we are witnessing the Windows Phone 8 brand.
