WPDang has been pretty accurate on leaks and predictions about Windows Phone stuff in China so far. Now the team is striking again with something very interesting: according to WPDang’s sources, Lumia 800c (for China Telecom), previously expected to be priced CNY 3,899, will actually be as cheap as CNY 3,699 (USD 586.7).
Generally CNY 4,000 is considered a proper price level for flagship devices. By pulling further away from that silver line, Lumia 800c is clearly having advantage over iPhone 4S (almost CNY 5,000). Cheaper than Apple, cheaper than HTC, plus subsidy from China Telecom, Lumia 800c is certainly looking good. People might even forgive its lack of social network integration upon launch.
